Vince Waterson, Chairman: Vince Waterson has spent over 35 years in the telecommunications industry in Europe, North America and Asia. His experience includes terrestrial wireless and satellite network implementation, satellite data broadcasting network design plus satellite network system integration. In the late 80's he invented FAXCAST the first satellite based group 3 facsimile broadcasting system. Ten years later he developed the technology for the Information Television Channel, the first satellite delivered EPG for cable tv head-ends in Asia operating on Thaicom3 satellite. As VP of business development at Subic Bay Satellite Systems Inc, Philippines in the late 90's he lead the team which established in 1997 the first satellite delivered Internet service in Asia. He is now VP Business Development at Hawaii Pacific Teleport, where his considerable knowledge of the Asian marketplace has enabled the company to develop a strong Asian customer base and win the WTA award for Teleport Developer of the Year in 2003. Whilst at HPT in 2005 he invented and applied with a colleague for a US patent on a video call with electronic fund transfer system called VideoKall for use by migrant workers for instant international remittance transfers. A demo VideoKall system was available late 2007 for presentations to potential investors.
Charlie Nahabedian, Chief Executive Officer: Consultant to management in the areas of business planning and operations improvement, sales and industry account management and support services. President of CEA, Inc., a management consulting firm, Mr. Nahabedian has more than 30 years of management experience in telecommunications, information technology, manufacturing, and software development. He has held senior executive positions from Director to CEO at wireless and telecommunications carriers, and computer system companies in both small and large businesses. Mr. Nahabedian started his career at Bell Labs and AT&T, has received two patents and received a national award for "Outstanding Contributions in a Field of Science." His organizations have developed and/or supported such projects as the first cordless telephone, first Metroliner coin telephone, the Horizon Communications System, Picturephone Meeting Service, WorldKey (interactive) Information Network, and CPE engineering and services, and long distance facilities (fiber and satellite). He has also held senior positions in Fidelity Capital, RAM Mobile Data (Cingular Interactive), Hazeltine, dotWAP, and Ultrapro International. A graduate of Northeastern University and Seton Hall University, he holds a BSEE, MSEE, and an MBA in finance and marketing. He currently serves as Adjunct Professor at Fairleigh Dickinson's Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurial Studies.
David Sturgess, Chief Technical Officer: Mr. Sturgess is Managing Director of C21 Technology Ltd, in Chesterfield, UK. C21 has designed, implemented and delivered unique solutions including data services and delivery mechanisms, process control equipment, and business solutions; as well tailoring existing technologies to meets the specific needs of our clients. They offer a wide range of high level language skills (C++, Pascal/Delphi), and have significant expertise in database design and implementation (SQL derivatives). Together with the use of HTML, client side JAVA, Flash and server side scripting (typically PHP), they provide numerous client solutions comprising of client server Win32 applications, with web access provision. C21 has significant expertise in hardware design. Past client solutions have included bespoke interface hardware, protocol converters, high speed data acquisition devices, DVB transport stream processors, and numerous data pipe devices operating over both satellite and IP networks. Designs have utilized a range of FPGA's, high speed microcontrollers and have incorporated, amongst others, Ethernet, USB, and IDE interfaces.
Robert (Hal) Turner, Chairman of the Board of Advisors: Mr. Turner is a consultant and/or senior executive, operating at the CEO or Chairman levels. A 28-year industry veteran, Hal founded Turner Telecom Holdings where he utilizes his international executive management experience, to accelerate growth in his clients, which have included global wireless, telecommunications, technology, and software companies. He has held positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as Chief Executive at InfiniRoute Networks Inc., the industry's first carrier neutral, fully managed service that seamlessly integrates and manages VOIP routing for wireline, wireless and emerging carriers. Hal led the formation of InfiniRoute by merging IP Deliver, where he was Chairman and Chief Executive, with Proficient Networks. Prior to InfiniRoute, he served as Chairman, Group Chief Executive and Managing Director of Davnet Ltd., having initially served as Group Chief Operating Officer. Hal has also held executive positions with New World Telephone Limited, EON Corp., TeleZone Corp., PTT Telecom Netherlands, US, Inc., and BellSouth Communications, Inc., where he was President and COO; Hal began his career at AT&T Corporation, where he held senior roles in sales and marketing. Hal earned his BSc and MBA and is a Board Member and Advisory Board Member for several technology companies.
